Mountain Gem, nestled in the mountains of Western Maine, is a brand-new custom chalet. Vast views of South Pond and surrounding mountains will be enjoyed from every room and, the back deck of course! 5 minutes to Mt. Abram, 20 to Sunday River. Highlighted amenities of this property include the 6-person hot tub, AC, soaring stone fireplace, and game room with pool table. All are great remedies after a day of golf, skiing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, or skiing. This property offers 2 suites, an additional queen bedroom on the main level and XL bunks in the bunk room! These are not your ordinary bunks, handcrafted and extra-large to accommodate not only the young but the young at heart! Mountain Gem is minutes from a public boat launch and beach. While you will enjoy this location for the peace and privacy you are less that 5 minutes to skiing, hiking, golf, fishing, and public beaches and boat access. There are 4 exterior security cameras at the property for the safety of guests and the protection of the property. The damage waiver fee of $150.00 is a non-refundable payment- which covers accidental damage up to the amount of $1500.00. This fee is processed in the overall costs of the rental at the time of booking. Remember we are in the mountains of Maine and the snow we hope for all year can make travel more difficult. We recommend all or 4 wheel drive in the winter season. The roads and driveway are professionally maintained but guests may find travel difficult without it.
~Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival: You’ll receive a refund of your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee.
If you cancel within 30 days of arrival: You’ll be refunded for any portion of your stay that is rebooked by another guest.
