「Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. 」

「Absolutely lovely property, conveniently located walking distance to downtown restaurants (though get ready for a little workout climbing back up the hill!) I was the only guest the night that I stayed, though the breakfast area was roomy enough for a full house. Simple breakfast fare done very, very well. Would definitely stay here again.」

Unique site and quiet, even though it's close to major, busy highway -- no problem with traffic noise disturbing us, when in building. Close to bike/walking trail, partially in natural areas.」
