The staff was kind and helpful. The facilities were very clean but could use some updating. We were told that we couldn't use the fireplace because they were turned off and that was part of why I liked the room.

The staff here is wonderful. Great food from the kitchen. Peggy at the front desk is one of the best. For a building built in the 1800's, it is in great shape.

Cute place. Nice view. Clean rooms. Quiet. Staff was wonderful. Loved Peggy at the front desk. Perfect place to stay. Having multiple restaurants attached to the hotel was a nice convenience. Oldest running hotel in the state of Minnesota. Has that charm. Not a chain. Even heard some cool ghost stories about the place. Do have to admit, we did hear some doors rattling at night. No explanation. lol. That was great. We want to go back, too. Thank you all for a great stay.

All staff between the inn and the restaurant were very friendly and super helpful. Meals were great....breakfast was delicious and both dinners were excellent. Parking is right outside the door. As was expected, the rooms are small and the air exchange is not the best. The bathroom was small but nice. It is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

There was a small nail sticking out of the bedframe. I did tell them about the next morning as we were leaving and they said they went and fixed it right away. Its neat place that has 3 restaurants inside. But they got my order wrong and only offered me free dessert..but its ok. The Tommy like wingys were amazing with the garlic sauce.

We went for an anniversary trip and we were not disappointed. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Service was fantastic and the room was comfortable and maintained well. The inn had modern conveniences but had great historical touches. The only complaint was that our room didn’t have a fridge/ but the staff let us use their staff fridge for our leftovers. 10/10!

Absoluetly stunning. You won't need extra pillows, but note that there's no coffee maker in the room so plan for that if you don't usually leave home without coffee first. Also, the whirlpool tubs in the room have well-water and you can't have candles in the room. They also don't provide bubble bath to mask the water odor, so be cautious if you are sensitive to smell. Otherwise, amazing stay! The truffle fries and the Yacht Club drink are fabulous and the filfty black cherry in the drink is like candy! Loved it 💜

We had a wonderful stay! We came to Afton to ski, but may have had just as much fun staying at The Afton House. The rooms were charming and perfect. The food in The Current was delicious, and the staff was absolutely the best. Very kind and helpful. We will be back!
