"My husband and I stayed at Cheyenne Mountain Resort to celebrate our 22nd anniversary, even though we live only about an hour away. It was the perfect getaway! From the moment you walk into the lobby, the resort has a warm mountain-lodge feel. While you can tell the property has been around for a while, it has been well maintained and has a lot of charm. The staff throughout the resort were wonderful friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The only exception was breakfast on our last morning. We arrived when the restaurant opened, and the service wasn't as attentive as what we had experienced everywhere else during our stay. Our resort-view room was definitely worth it. Sitting on the balcony and looking out at Cheyenne Mountain was peaceful and relaxing. The bed was also very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The room did have a very faint cigarette smoke smell. I'm extremely sensitive to smoke, so it's possible most guests wouldn't even notice it. It seemed more like an old, lingering odor than anything recent. Overall, we had a wonderful anniversary getaway and would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Colorado escape."

"We stayed at Embassy for two nights with young children. First thing i have to mention it was Summer and Hotel was fully Booked. Room had some awful smell and Refrigerator was broken. They changed our refrigerator but could help with the strange smell in the room.They have only option of giving us a air freshener. Breakfast was good kids enjoyed it.View was Kind of Mountain view.Every attraction was under 15 minutes.So It was convenient for us to Take our car out and Enjoy."

"Full size refrigerator, microwave and a 2 "burner" (electric) stove top make extended stays comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of adequate counter space in the bathroom. I was there alone and felt cramped for space. Two people would have had to juggle sharing space vs keeping stiff in your luggage."

"Staff was Very diligent about cleaning key cards! I observed them cleaning them during the day several days in a row. Staff was very helpful. Food service was a bit spotty. Breakfast was about what you would expect. One morning coffee cups were not available because they hadn’t washed any from night before. Tried to order at the bar one night to take good back to the room but bartender was too engaged in conversation to be bothered to serve me. They ran out of food once. Best recliner I’ve ever had at a hotel :-)"
