"Clean room good budget hotel"

"We enjoyed our room. Luckily, we are right next to the river and the windows on the second story opened.So we got to open the windows and hear the river during the day and had a beautiful scene to look out at. The only issues we had mostly were with breakfast. It felt like everything wasn't made from real food. It's hard to explain.The hard boiled eggs didn't have any flavor of being eggs. The scrambled eggs were hard in some places, and the sausage could be better."

"Excellent place to stay! The host was very helpful and responded within minutes to any question. This was a beautiful property, in the perfect location for a wonderful three day weekend! There was even a selection of wines with a beautiful outdoor patio. Definitely 5 Star!!!!"

"The place is like you would expect from a "Quality" Inn. Rooms are scarsely decorated and the walls are paper thin so you hope to have no neighbours or at least very quiet ones. Doors shut noisily and no one seems to have learned middle of the night or early morning etiquette to be quiet and hold doors so they don't slam. Breakfast was mid; we had picked it for the variety we expected from the pictures but it was not so. No fruits, same breakfast at least 2 days in a row -scrambled eggs, sausages, scone and a white gravy, waffle station, cold cereals, yogurts. There is a TV in the breakfast area but it wasn't turned on so unsure if broken. We picked it because it wasn't n the highway so we had hoped quieter but it backs onto the highway so at least half the rooms back onto it."

"We were just staying one night and doing nothing but sleeping. The room was clean and comfortable which is all I expected. For a longer stay it would have been great to take advantage of the short walk to all the fun in downtown Manitou Springs."
