「This was my second time staying at The Latch Inn. It has a lovely setting by the marina. The rooms are very majestic. The staff is very polite and oh so helpful. The breakfast dining room is lovely and the food was perfect. The only thing I would comment on is that there was a slight smell of gas coming from the fireplace in the dining hall which my husband reported to the staff and another guest also reported the smell that had been coming from their fireplace in their suite. 「Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!」

「The homeless people on the streets made us feel very uneasy. The restaurant looked like it's been closed for years. And at the base of the stairs to go up to our room, there was a cordoned off room that was shut down for asbestos. Our room wreaked of Febreeze, which was a little nauseating, but the bed sheets were very clean and comfortable and the room was actually quite spacious. The $200 damage deposit seemed very high as well, which took me by surprise upon checking in. Cheap, yes, but the...

Petit papier très mince qu'on doit utiliser en guise de kleenex! Personnel très peu conviviale le matin lors du départ. Petit déjeuner minimaliste et peu appetissant.」
