"We had a great stay here, friendly staff, wonderful sheets and towels, dated but clean and charming. Bring an eye mask though, miniblinds only, no black out curtains, so it was bright when the sun came up. And the A/C worked well but cycled off and on all night so it was disruptive to have the noise going off and on as well."

10/10 Excellent
"Great location near downtown Franconia - walkable to Iron Furnace, Franconia Basecamp, Hungry Bear, etc. we came for a family reunion and the house worked great for our nuclear family of 6. Very old house - don’t forget to duck if you’re tall! Also would be a fantastic base for a great ski week and Cannon/Bretton Woods/other nearby ski areas. We will be back!!! "
"Stonybrook is a classic roadside motel. I'm not sure how long it's been around, but it's in decent shape. Sure, it could use some paint and a refresh on furnishings, but I found it clean and comfortable enough in a quiet and attractive setting. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was pretty lame. The coffee was terrible. Still, I'd return."
"Nice and quiet untilsome one lost there dog in the park it was cryinat our door at 2am because it was raining the dog want to come in .but when i got later on the dog was gone"
Charming, dog-friendly cabin with a full kitchen, free WiFi, & private hot tub
10/10 Excellent
"The place was fantastic. Great central location to get places for a day hike and enjoy the local area. The house itself was huge and very spacious, we never felt too crowded. The hot tub was great and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. "
Dog-friendly home with stunning views & balcony, near Cannon Mountain
4/10 Poor
"The location was great - right around the corner from Echo Lake, close to many trails, 15 minutes from Lincoln. The view was PHENOMENAL - sunset over the mountain every evening. New kitchen appliances were a nice amenity, and was stocked with all the tools you could need to cook a meal (kitchen tools are all pretty "used" but they're there!) Fairly private spot, but not secluded by any means. This didnt bother is much, but its an older property without many updates at all. It is charming and big enough for the whole family. The front screen door has no handle, the window screens are ripped, some windows do not open at all. Furniture is very "vintage" but the couches are SO comfortable and the dining table seats 8. TVs in the great room, bunk room, and 1 bedroom. Internet is not high speed, but good service. There is no yard. There is a broken shower door upstairs. The porch is in need of repair. The grill was too dirty to use. Many of the linens stained. Some lightbulbs need replacing. Fireplace was out of order. We arrived late afternoon to no running water, and attempts for resolution were futile until late the following morning. We woke up every morning at 530 to construction right outside our window that we were not informed of, and were trapped or blocked out of the property a few times as they were digging up the road. Also note - this property is on a resort with many other vacation homes, which surprised us."
