「Great location, great people. Very convenient!」

「I was traveling to the area for a wedding at a local resort and spent two great nights at the Colonel Spencer Inn. Hosts Tracy and Jim are kind and respectful and offered to assist with my luggage. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. Even though the weather was less than ideal, it is in a beautiful setting and I want to stay there again. I had two delicious and filling breakfasts and I appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea bar, and beverage fridge filled with water bottles.」

「Interesting place, the staff were great and so was breakfast , the room we stayed in was a little tired , I appreciate its an old building but especially the bathroom sink in our room , which needs replacing or re-enamelling , it looked dirty even though it wasn't. We only styed the one night , there was a good brew pub at the bottom of the road on the whole a good stay」

「Nice to have coffee and muffins an hour before the excellent breakfast choices. We sat by an outdoor fire one night and played board games the other night. A true retreat from the daily grind. Our two adult children and the two of us slept comfortably in one room that had mutliple beds. Nice to have the option to walk to town as well. Great time!」

「This property is the iconic lake area get away . Staff was welcoming and fun , the restaurant and bar are serving great food and drinks . The complimentary breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Lovely outside veranda deck :)」
