They are remodeling and old Days Inn and are working through the renovations. They are making the best of this situation. It will be great when they get it done.

Hotel appears to be under new ownership. Some areas, such as the breakfast room, appear to still be under renovations, but overall, the room itself felt clean and more modern than when we previously stayed here several years ago. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but nice that it was included and saved time having to otherwise drive into downtown Lincoln. Great location just minutes away from Franconia State Park and the Flume Gorge. Overall, a good hotel at this price point if you're looking for something decent, but not too expensive in the area. Would stay here again.

The check-in host was very nice and welcoming. The property was undergoing construction during our stay, which definitely affected the overall experience. The room carpets were dirty, and there was hair left in the shower, so the cleanliness could be improved. On the positive side, the water pressure was amazing, and the breakfast buffet was decent. The waffles were good, although adding scrambled eggs would make the breakfast options better. Overall, it was an okay experience, with some areas that could use improvement.

Beacon Inn is in the process of being renovated, lots of rooms unfinished, several buildings with construction going on, it is an old Day’s Inn, but is far from finished. We were given a cabin, which was very small, with a tiny unpleasant bath. Bed was fine, but the whole place was kind of dismal. Breakfast was in another building, we skipped it, treating ourselves at a local diner!

This has been the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed but it seems they working on it. It can look beautiful if they update the rooms. Hotel stay still was nice I like that they have chairs outside the doors for sitting overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was not the best thought they had hot breakfast other than waffles.
