The property was beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful. The best waffle I have ever eaten! Also homemade granola and yogurt that was yummy. The room was a bit small and no counter space for anything but other than that it was very nice.

This family run inn is clean and friendly. Mary was particularly helpful, giving us the history of the inn and making dinner reservations at a very popular restaurant nearby. The room was cute with a private balcony. But, we were on the 3rd floor and bags were tough to get up the steep narrow staircase.

Staying at the Inn at Ellis River was one of the top highlights of my trip and felt like staying with family. The property is extremely well kept and clean, the rooms are comfortable with great facilities and lots to do on property. The breakfast service was always well executed and tasty, and the bacon is to die for! I stayed as a solo hiker and was just as comfortable as the couples visiting, I will absolutely be back next year!

My solo stay at the Inn at Ellis River was absolutely wonderful. I stayed in the Nancy Cascades room, and the bed was remarkably comfortable—providing the best rest after long days spent out exploring. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious and provided a wonderful start to every morning. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality: the owners and staff made me feel exceptionally welcome, comfortable, and well cared for throughout my stay. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway!
