Nestled among ancient Limber Pine trees, this serene mountaintop cabin offers breathtaking views and easy access to a variety of outdoor adventures. Hike nearby trails, explore picturesque lakes and rivers, or spend the day skiing before returning to your cozy retreat.



The charming town of Fairplay is just minutes away, known for its welcoming atmosphere, unique artisan shops, local museum, and a delightful selection of restaurants, coffee spots, and ice cream parlors.



Back at the cabin, unwind with a glass of wine on the upper deck, or gather the family for a movie night by one of the two warm and inviting indoor fireplaces. The downstairs area is a kid's paradise, featuring a bedroom with twin beds, an air hockey table, and a cozy movie room. Adults can relax upstairs in peace or step outside to enjoy a game of horseshoes or roast marshmallows under the stars at the outdoor firepit.



Whether you're here to hit the slopes, hike the mountains, or simply soak in the tranquility, this perfectly located cabin is your home base for unforgettable Rocky Mountain memories.



The Space:

2 Queen Bedrooms upstairs and a 2 Twin Bedroom downstairs. Two full bathrooms. Code lock to access



Guest Access:

Private entrance and driveway. Please remove shoes upon entry.



Getting Around:

Close to hiking trails. Make sure to have good tires or chains and AWD or 4WD in the winter (October-April)



Other Things to Note:

Please make sure that trash cans are latched so the bears don't get in them.

We had a great stay! The dogs and kids loved tromping the wooded area and the kids played rounds and rounds of air hockey. The cabin is a short hour drive to Mount Princeton Hot Springs and the Park Bar in FairPlay was a fun spot to grab dinner. Cabin is clean, cozy and well stocked. We would stay again for sure.

The Limber Pine Lodge is a great place to stay for a quiet, cozy weekend. Our dogs loved roaming the wooded area and it was perfect for our Annual Dog Trip with our BFFs. It even snowed a bit but we were warm in this spacious vacation rental. We hiked the property, played Horseshoes, had air hockey tournaments, and cooked on the new gas stove.

A clean, spacious cabin with a nice game area where kids can spend time, giving adults quiet time upstairs.Everything was updated and and working.The cabin sits at 11,000 feet and is very quiet and private. Road to access the cabin is a little washboard and bumpy, but access is otherwise simple. Plenty of wildlife to see in the area too. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will be back soon.

It's quite a lot further up the mountain than we expected. Roads are rough going. You need good suspension. House had leaking washing machine and dryer needs upgrading. Stove top needed cleaning. But the house was very clean. The deck was a great place to have your morning tea and a good book. More seating needed on decking as two seats for a family wasn't enough. Management company was very responsive, professional and welcoming. I would rent again just because of management company.
