"This was the absolute worst stay I've experienced at a hotel. The ONLY positive thing is the duty manager Shivani, whom had at least attempted to compensate the hotel's shortfalls. The air conditioner didn't work in my first room, nor did any of the available clothes dryers work on the floor. I had called reception numerous times and waited over an hour for someone to attend the room to have a look. He fiddled around with the air con and said it was working when it wasn't, but I presented to reception this time to demand it be fixed. Shivani moved me to another room, but the air conditioning didn't work in that too. either. I gave up contacting reception because at least there was a large window I could open. It was 25 degrees in the first room and I had to leave the window open in the second otherwise it would also be too warm. When I complained to reception the following morning, the actual Manager of the hotel was there, but had flipped me off. I was also handed a card for a free drink, but had to wait while three people that presented at reception after I did were served before I finally received the drink. This would have to be THE WORST hotel stay I've ever experienced in terms of a non-existent costumer service and poorly maintained facilities. I was made to continue checking the dryer for 6 hours rather than offered an alternative solution - I was trying to dry my Pjs that I needed to wear! Terrible hotel!!! "

"Its location is so convenient to southern cross station & the CBD. Love that the Flagstaff Gardens are just there. Loved the spacious room, the crisp linen, the large plush pillows & the blackout curtains. The decor colour and style was cosy & comfortable too. The modern and practical bathroom & storage areas were great too. Along with welcoming staff on arrival, the overall experience was impressive. Thank you"

"first of all: for a 3-night stay, only 1 housekeeping done and that was before checking in. Don't tell me that's written in the T&C or fineprints, a 4/5-star hotel simply can't say that. The coffee mugs were stained, there was a towel left by previous occupant(s) in the bathroom, the floor near the kitchen was visibly dirty, the water pressure of the shower was too low and installed only for someone at 190cm or taller"
