「There were so many flying ants in the room at night when we came back from the pool. The hotel staffs were so slow to take action. I had to ask the reception to solve the problem many time. I will never stay here again.」

「ホテルの部屋はコテッジタイプとコンドミニアムタイプの両方があり、どちらもプライバシーが守られています。ビーチはすぐそこなので、散歩するもよし、その他のアクティビティの数も多いので、ここにいるだけで別世界の楽園を楽しめます。ストレス解消にぴったりですね。Inclusiveというスタイルなので、食事もすべて含まれています。私たちは、どこかにでかける可能性もあったので、昼食だけ外したHalf Boaｒdという方式でしたが、結局ホテルの食事が美味しすぎて、ホテルで実費で食事をしました。おすすめは、やわらかくてスパイシーな海鮮タコのサラダ（ココナッツオイルで炒めてある）です。ザンジバルは今、マラリアの心配はないそうですが、夜の食事をしている間に、ベッドに蚊帳をおろしてくれて、殺虫剤を散布してくれました。ただし日本人客はほとんどいないようなので、英語かドイツ語かスワヒリ語ができる人向きです。言葉に自信のない人には、あまりお薦めできません。」

「田舎ですが、何もない事が最高。部屋は広く、ホテル目の前のビーチはほぼ貸し切り。 食事も2食付きなので、ホテルでゆっくりできます。ホテルのごはんに飽きればタクシーで10分くらいのパジェにある何軒もあるホテルやバンガローでご飯を食べるのも良い。 ホテルの方もみな親切で、リラックスして過ごせるのでとてもお勧めです。」

「What I liked the most is that the entire hotel was built around 10 living palmtrees. Trees are still growing (there are holes for them in the floor between ground floor and the first floor) and providing shade for guests and living room for birds.」

「Ocean Boutique Hotel was the perfect getaway. A special thank you to Yocinta, the manager, who surprised us with a birthday cake and Swahili singing, a late checkout, and her constant kindness. All the staff were amazing, Alfred, Aisha, Agustino, Carina, Debora, Kelvin, the pool team, the cleaners who kept our room spotless, and those who prepared our beds each night with mosquito nets. Everyone was always so kind and smiling. To anyone I missed, sorry! You made our stay so special. Beautiful...

「Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. 」
