The beach near the pizza shack needs sorting out though, just clear up the rubbish and old seaweed -It could be a beautiful spot!"
"This hotel and its amenities were subpar. The Wi-Fi hardly worked. The television was non-functional. The meals were not tasty. There are cats scattered all over the dining area when you’re eating. But the staff were great! "
"I stayed at Zanzibar Palace Hotel from June 8 to June 10 and had an amazing experience. The hotel is full of character, with beautiful Zanzibari decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect—close to all the sights, yet quiet at night. A true gem in Stone Town. Highly recommended!"

"It's over 1 hr. drive from the airport but once you get to the hotel you would feel the peace and serenity around you enough to forget your journey. The newly built accommodation is really nice but they need to either get a king mattress of put a frame around the twin XL mattress to prevent them from separating if you roll towards the middle."

"Absolutely amazing stay at Isaraya! Not enough words to describe the resort. The over water villa was magical, it was very spacious and had its own pool! The beach was immaculate with white sand and crystal clear water. There were sun loungers for us to use and a beach bar near the pool that delivered food and drinks. Both the restaurants had amazing food and the dinner buffet at Konokono restaurant was delicious. They also had local entertainment which was great. The staff were so friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Room service was very efficient as well. Overall we will never forget our stay here and hope to come back some day!"

"We honeymoon’ed at My Blue Hotel for 6 days and loved it! The hotel property is beautiful and clean. We chose the half board option, and really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. There are also several nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner that are walking distance.
Furthermore, the staff were lovely. We had a smooth check in and check out experience and the cleaning staff left cute designs with towels and flowers on our bed for our honeymoon.
The rooms were good - had everything you need including bug nets! Staff would also spray the room in the evening to keep bugs away which was greatly appreciated.
The view of the beach was great and we didn’t have any issues getting a beach chair to sit on at any time of the day.
