「Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. 「I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to」

「The property is very quiet and located right on the beach. Beautiful views and friendly and accomodating staff. The breakfast is wonderful and delicious. Only downside to this property is that there is not 24/7 staff at the front desk and obtaining extra bottled drinking water from the hotel is not easy. Overall would highly recommend. 」

「Charmante maison du début 1900.mobilier art déco et ou l art primitif africain s y mélange .pas loin du centre ville et face a un beau parc donc a l écart du bruit du centre ville a proximité. Petit déjeuner délicieux donc un rapport qualité prix dans cette ville touristique et assez chère.」

「Good service, nice spartment, great pool area, delicious restaurant, close to the beach and a good place for your vacation. But no Wifi inside the apartment and overall very bad connection. Could be a little bit cheaper in our opinion. Supermarket and ATM is a little far to walk.」

「Et skøn perle hvis man intet vil lave ! Man er ude i Remote område hvor er sker ingen ting men hvis man er til ro og stilhed så er det lige stedet. Kræset for detaljer og kun 4 værelser så ikke så mange gæster. Et godt køkken med dagens fangst og andre lokale retter. Skøn personale og mega service minded så kan varmt anbefales! Kommer her gerne igen for af stress og roen ! 」

「Rooms are stretched over a beautiful area close to the ocean and are spacey and well maintained. Options of two bars/restaurants with friendly staff; service in general very good - which is rare in Zanzibar. Food and drinks are good quality and many choices but also quiet expensive , similar to the 5-star hotels close by. Otherwise one of the best spots in Pemba! 」

「Our flight was delayed therefore arrived a day late. I emailed 'Jamilah' owner of hotel once had WiFi access. Jamilah the owner was considerate as she responded with 'no problem' (Hakuna Matata, (Swahilli). Once we arrived, we were taken to a small and very clean room, but without a fridge or long mirror. I had a word with Jamilah and she assured me that she would sort a fridge and long mirror for us. By the end of the evening a fridge and a mirror arrived. I was so grateful as Jamilah went...

「伝統的な住居をそのまま利用した雰囲気のよい宿泊施設で静かで落ち着いた空間である。トイレ・シャワーは共同だが私が宿泊した部屋は隣だったのでほぼ専用で使用でき不便はなかった。窓にガラスがなく雨が降ると木の扉を閉めることになり真っ暗になるがそれも味だろう。場所はオールドタウンのどこへもアクセスしやすく便利である。」

「I stayed one night, next morning the smell of sewerage from the bathroom drain was horrendous. I left the hotel immediately . The stairs to the top floors are steep & dangerous . Not a pleasant experience .」

The 24-hour security also ensured we felt safe at all times. I stayed for four nights and had the most unforgettable time. I can confidently say this is an experience I will cherish for a lifetime."

"This is my second stay at this hotel (the first stay was in 2020). They prepared the annex which is a bit far from main building. It is just 2-3minutes, but the restaurant and bar is at the main. (I don't know how is in the main building, but) the room of annex have no mosquito net even in Zanzibar (they said it is OK to other customers... really?). So, I needed to turn on air conditioner all time, and it made me shivering all night (air conditioner worked good enough). I wonder you can spend comfortably in this situation. And more, stairs of the annex were not stable as in my country (Japan), so I always fell down. You can enter the main building free (without showing the key or something), and this means outsider can go inside easily. OK, this is in Zanzibar, Tanzania!!"
