「I just want to start off with a HUGE thank you to the staff at this facility!! I've traveled to many islands in the Caribbean & Asia- the Nungwi Dreams has been the best stay EVER! The staff is kind, friendly, knowledgable/intelligent, catering, they all remember your name- I can go on and on!! I learned so much about Tanzania/Zanzibar & Africa in general from the staff, which kept me mentally stimulated- always a plus!! The facility is clean and well kempt. 「Very central location for Stone Town. Easy to walk to local attractions. Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back. It is noisy with building work going on nearby, calls to prayer, and the church bells ringing but we expected that to be the case and soon got used to it. 「One of my worst hotel experiences. The air conditioning in the room did not work and there is no overnight staff to contact. It was 34 degrees. There is no bottled water in the rooms (you cannot drink the tap water). When an extra towel was requested (for the second person in the room - the room had 2 beds) the staff said none were available as they needed to do laundry. 「I stayed alone at the villa in zanzibar in a lovely room. I had an excellent stay! The setting is magnificent and so peaceful. My room, spacious with a huge bathroom, overlooked the garden and the ocean. The sun sets in front of the room and the pool, which is remarkable. The common areas are large and spacious, so you can enjoy the place without disturbing each other. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is very attentive to special requests.I look forward to returning. 」
