Beautiful B and B in the countryside. Owner treated us like family. Very Helpful and Friendly. Property beautifully decorated, Ground and views of the lake and mountains were breathtaking. Keep in mind you must have a car to stay at this property. You are in the countryside, but you're a short drive down the mountain side to a small city if you need to buy groceries or a meal. Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. This hotel is a great location for the Guggenheim and for dining. It’s a bit longer walk to the old town section of town. If you have a car you will find the garage exceptionally clean and relatively easy to get in and out of. It’s also easy to get in and out of the city from the hotel.
