「Great place within walking distance of pretty much anything you could want from a a stay in Bilbao. 20mins of flat walking to the Guggenheim and old town, 8mins to the bus station and 0 minutes to the supermarket (but not on Sunday - they’re all closed). Manu was exceptionally helpful and we followed his recommendations for places to go and to eat. Superb stay, thoroughly recommended. 」

The apartment is clean, neat, and has a good-sized balcony with a table for eating. Gernika is equipped with a train station, many restaurants, grocery stores, shops, a couple museums, and is even a short drive to beaches and the seaside town of Lekeitio, making it the perfect alternative to staying in Bilbao.
