Hesperia Bilbao

Hesperia Bilbao

10/10 Excellent
"The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable; not luxury, but the high end of the comfort category for a junior suite. The sitting area in the extended window space and large opening windows was very nice. The bathroom is a good size, but no door between the bedroom and the large sink area. Nespresso machine, plenty of plugs, fridge with waters, welcome pastry - all nice touches. The property is starting to show some wear and age, but the lobby is big, welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is very nice. The location is fantastic along the river and a quieter section, but a stones throw from everything. The workout room is terrible. A few treadmills, an old lat pulldown pulley machine with a single fixed pulley, an odd assortment of old dumbells, no bench, a relax the back ball and enough space for two people to sweat in a non-vented blocked off quadrant of flexible conference space. Slightly better than nothing if you need to get on a treadmill or lift something heavy, but at least a minimal investment is needed here."
