The best place to stay in the countryside

We were looking for a place outside the city, but near the city at the same time at the same time. And this was the place the comfort of staying in the countryside and having the city 30 minutes away this place is for relaxing to make some sports and have a comfy living during your stay.

Aristieta is located in a beautiful, quiet, bucolic area of Kanpantxu, near Gernika. It is part of an organic farmstead operated by Alex and his wife, the hosts. Their home and farmhouse has been lovingly restored by their family and friends and is a unique property in every sense of the word. We enjoyed our stay very much, and especially, our spacious room with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfasts were simple and tasty. Coffee was great! Eskerrik asko!...and take care of the beautiful Urdaibai Biosphere region that you call your home.

Fantastic place with Guernica city centre only minutes away. Clean, gigantic rooms with a wonderful view and a shower that worked even on the top floor. It's an amazing old farm house building - but all conveniences are offered, including warmth. Also, you couldn't possibly find nicer hosts who not only serve the best breakfast in the world, but also the best coffee! Parking is on site.

Es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt 😀! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt 😊! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Das Frühstück wird persönlich serviert. Das Zimmer war geräumig und hatte einen schönen Ausblick. Es war barrierefrei. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und schön. Ich würde sofort wieder hier Urlaub machen wollen! Vielen Dank ☺️

The owners were great. Arriving late after a very rough day on the Camino they offered to personally drop us off in the nearby town to get dinner. When we returned there were no taxis in sight so we called the hotel and they got us a taxi. Great service. The breakfast was very good with fresh squeezed orange juice, strong coffee, and a nice selection of breads. It was a very nice place but how the owners treated us was by far the best thing. Thank you!

This house is over 400 years old. It’s a joy to see. I have never had a better nights sleep, so very quite and way out in the country! No stress zone for sure. Woke up to nice organic breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. One of many great experiences during this visit!
