    Extremely friendly staff. Great breakfast in the morning. Spacious room with a nice view. I would definetly recommend it as a place to stay.

    The staff at Kinmount Hotel were so welcoming and accommodating to our needs. They went out of their way to take us to a local wedding and checked which nights we would like the bar open and which mornings we would like breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable in a nice quiet area. I would highly recommend this hotel to people. Brilliant stay, thank you!

    Nice stopover between cities

    It was a great stay, very cozy and cute. I enjoyed meeting with the bartender to discuss breakfast arrangements, which I thought were cancelled. Pleasant surprise, and quite enjoyable.

    Newly refurbished

    Room 5. 1 night. Lovley place. Newly refurbished. Parking outback and felt safe. Could also park on main road small bathroom but ok. Staff nice. Clean. Good wifi. Tea coffee. Restaurant not open (they supplied a list of open restaurants) didn't have breakfast. Heating was in a timed system. But ok. Very good value for money. Had live music in bar (busker) he was ok. Would definitely stay again.

    No food of drink, it cost us £15 in taxi 1way

    We arrived thinking we could have food and drink, there was no food or drink on site, the room was the best thing about the place, it was clean and looked freshly decorated. On the door it said no vacancies but we were the only people there, a board also had times of bar opening but it never did as another sign said opens on Friday at 5pm

    Poor!!

    No mention of bar an restaurant closed before booking absolutely no one to greet us jus a piece of paper with room key. Not acceptable rooms very hot and cramped wont be returning

    Nice hotel

    Really nice hotel. Arrived late due to work but keys and instructions left which was really good. Hotel seems to have an amazing Covid Policy which must be really affecting their room rental but it's appreciated and makes you feel safe. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed and clean. This hotel is approximately 10miles from Dumfries on the A75 and if the restaurant or bar is closed then no food facilities in immediate area. Breakfast was advised it starts at 9am which was a bit.late for myself. However they did mention they were flexible but unfortunately by time of arrival I was unable to speak to anyone to arrange it earlier so missed out.
