On the negative side, my room was located on the third floor (second in Germany) directly on top of the entrance and it was very noisy until 1am, caused by

"No frills hotel located 50m from the main train station in Duisburg. Has parking at 10 euros per night. Room fairly basic, but clean. Has a good sized TV with a good selection of channels. Room was clean and the shower was excellent."

"It's an Ibis budget, so as long as you don't expect 5* luxury then this place is just fine. Rooms were pretty spacious and bed very comfortable. Excellent air conditioning, if a bit noisy, on a very hot and sultry weekend. Breakfast was basic, but totally fine. Two shops, Netto and REWE under the hotel for extras. Watch out for the small group of al-fresco drinkers around the area"
