New Year's short break.

Very clean hotel, and well located in quiet street behind the main station. Room was large and comfortable if a little dated from 90s but the bathroom and shower were brand new and excellent. Great power shower with lots of hot water! Breakfast buffet was plentiful and good choices-food was tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly especially AppleJay at Reception who bent over backwards to make us welcome at check-in.

This place is really very nice and clean. I loved the location, it's close to the train station which makes long journeys comfortable. Especially for those who come here to attend KolnMesse expo. Highly recommended.

My sons and I had a great long weekend in this hotel. It’s a little way out from Altstadt, but taxis are easily accessible if required. Very close to Central Station. Overall, the hotel is very comfortable, and good value for money. Well recommended.

Happy visitor!

Super helpful and friendly staff. Lovely room with balcony and a bath. Note for travellers with mobility issues or heavy luggage... that there could be a few steps to move between different levels on the same floor.

Hotel is centrally located near the Hauptbahnhof. Staff was friendly. Hotel room AC did not work and room smelled of cigarette smoke. An ashtray on the balcony confirmed my suspicion that smoking in the room happened often.

This is my third time of staying at the hotel, it's very conveniently located next to the train station and the main town. The staff seem to be more biased towards other traveller's than the English. There was refit works going on we were not notified by either the hotel or Expedia! The bar wasnt open although there was a make shift one in the restaurant, the workman where still drilling and sawing until 9pm, so not a really nice relaxed atmosphere & the staff where not equipped to be serving more than one customer at a time. The local rough living chap thought he could use the outside corner of the hotel as his nightly toilet stop, mentioned it to reception and 2 days later the mess was still on the floor!

Adequate city centre hotel.

We arrived for breakfast 5 minutes before service ended at 10am. The waitress was hovering around and reminded us 3 times that we were the last to arrive and that she was waiting only for us. We felt unnecessarily pressured to eat and leave as quickly as possible. On the information in the room it said that the restaurant was open until 10pm. We arrived at 9.15 and it was not open. Bar snacks available but were not as described on the menu. Also despite the hotel advertising EV chargers in the parking garage, these were not even commissioned yet so we were not able to charge. They should not be advertised if not working

Super friendly welcoming front desk.also the breakfast team. It’s an old hotel with the carpet and the wooden door / furniture like in the 80’s but within the renovated walk-in bathroom makes it fresh. And l still prefer to have the fridge and cattle. Behind the train station but easy to park or walk distance to the centre.
