"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

The wife was a kind lady, who will help you easily if you need it, she also has a decent grasp of English so you shouldn't need much google translate, especially if you know a bit if Japanese yourself. "石上神宮参拝に朝いちばんに　行きたかったので 「やまべ」さんに泊まらせていただきました。 素泊まりでしたので　多くは望まなかったし お値段がとてもリーズナブルだったので　それなりだと 思います。 おばちゃんが　親切でお話するのが楽しかったです。 また　自転車を無料で借りられたので　石上神宮まで行くのがショートカットできてありがたかったです。 でないと　けっこう歩くことになるので．．． また　天理に行くときには　お願いすると思います。"
