"After a long day of travel, we arrived to find that the unit had not been cleaned after the prior guest checked out. Beds unmade, dirty bathrooms, crumbs on the counter, trash about. Called host who did not pick up. Called VRBO and sent them pictures. Host finally texted to say the unit had been cleaned and he had pictures, then called to say "it was on him" and he would credit one night stay plus cleaning. I requested a full refund but was denied. He said he would credit the one night...

"Fabulous location, easy to Uber all over the city. Neighborhood is very quiet. We never heard one siren at night. Neighborhood is safe, we walked to Whole Foods one day. Beds were very comfortable. Good pillows. Being from Texas we loved every room had ceiling fans for air movement. Communication with homeowner was great. "

"I was really excited to stay at this property. It looks so nice! However the beautiful new building is situated in a very rough area of DC. We arrived in the late afternoon and a party was just getting started next door. Medium sized crowd, loud music with strong bass line. I ordered some DoorDash and the driver got out, looked at me, looked around, and asked "Are you okay?" But I was still hopeful that everything would be fine. It wasn't. The party went until nearly 4am with escalating yelling...
