"This hotel was great! We stayed here for 8 nights for our honeymoon. I honestly don’t think the breakfast was worth it they only had three options for like $55 for two people so I would skip that. But they offered Lei making and ukulele lessons which was super fun!"

"We had a "City View" room, yet we were looking at a very rough neighborhood apartment complex across the street from our room. That is the only view of the "City" we had. Also, during our stay in the lobby, three employees (we were told), were yelling and screaming from the office (loudly) that they wanted their paychecks. It was kind of scary because one of the employees was extremely large like an NFL linebacker. I can't blame them if they were upset for not being paid, yet as a guest in the hotel, the whole scene (yelling, cussing, etc.) was uncomfortable to say the least."

"This place was excellent. Rooms were amazing. We upgraded for ocean and Mountain View. Easily accessible to everything. Would stay again."

"The room was very clean, and the resort fee included daily cleaning service. The dresser was older and had a mismatched drawer that didn't stay shut. We just dealt with it but I know they would have fixed it if we said something. We did tell them on check out. Beach view was gorgeous!!! The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The bartender, Cramer, was awesome! The coffee shop baristas and convenience store workers were also so friendly. It was pretty handy having the convenience store right there, and it was open early amd closed late. One thing we didn't realize until we were there was there was no covered patio to just hang out on and watch the ocean. You had to have lunch or dinner reservations to sit at the covered patio outside. Most restaurants and shopping were walkable for us being about 1-1.5 miles away. It was a very pleasant experience!"

"The location of this hotel is amazing and the pool area is great. I also want to preface this review by saying that the staff took any concerns we had seriously and were as accommodating as they could be. This hotel has a serious Mold issue that we experienced in 3 different rooms. The first room had Mold all over the ceiling above the bed. The 2nd room was 7 floors below that one but shared a wall with the previous room and also has black Mold in the corner of the ceiling. We were feeling really uncomfortable with this and asked to move an additional time. This room looked better at a glance and was also more updated. However, there was a musty smell in this room and the entire 3rd floor that was hard to get over. At a glance the Mold issue was better but it was all over the curtains, hangers in the closet and the front of the AC vent. At this point we just vent and got a bunch of glade air fresher plug ins and gave up. I really would love to recommend this hotel for the location, amenities and staff but both of us left the hotel feeling sick. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with respiratory issues or asthma. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in humid locations and have never experienced mold like this. In my opinion, this is more of a 3 star hotel. It’s definitely no where close to a 5 star hotel."
