「The whole environment is stuffy and choked with smell of smoke,poor extraction system and rooms are so smelly」

「We booked a superior king room room very spacious but very dark overlooking the car park so would book privilege room if we go again. Food was lovely both evening meal and breakfast. Again the bar overlooking the car park such a shame, we still had a lovely time and would return」

「Hotel did not inform me that all roads leading to the hotel in a rather large radius would be closed on the night of my arival. There was no communication of alternative parking arrangements. When I arrived and explained calmly that I was not a happy customer I was given excuses. Apparently they are unable to contact me because I booked through expedia. This is strange as they had contacted me through expedia to tell me that my room was non refundable. If you are going to Sunderland pick...

「Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel.」

「It was a car-free trip, but as the bus station was nearby, it wasn't as inconvenient as I'd expected. The lady at reception was very kind. Very comfortable room. Having a fridge was also a great help.」

「Loved the interior of the pub and the dining room . All of the staff were pleasant and helpful especially Ross who was friendly , professional and very helpful. We had one of the annexe rooms and it was very peaceful , clean and facilities were excellent . We were very happy with our evening meals and breakfasts . Would happily return .」

「Great stay overall. The hotel was lovely, comfortable and welcoming, and the bar had a great atmosphere in the evening. Staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We also used the swimming pool, which was a nice facility, although the water was quite cold. The only issue was at breakfast. We had already paid for breakfast through Expedia, but unfortunately this hadn’t transferred into the hotel’s system, which caused some confusion.」
