「Hotel was nice. But it is already winter here so almost restaurant was closed. Also Lassen National park was closed due to snow. We had nothing to do. 」

「The location is ideal - winter or summer. However, the cabin was ice cold when we checked in. The gas fireplace was insufficient to adequately warm the living space; that is, we had the thermostat cranked to 85, but the interior temp never rose above 65. We had to borrow blankets and space heater from our daughter who had a full house on the Peninsula.We also discovered one window open about 1/2”, which obviously created inefficiency. There was a live spider and web in the Keurig water reservoir...

「This is an amazing ranch property owned by a multigenerational family who stayed to fight the recent wildfire and saved the area around the ranch. This is as close as you can get to the Yellowstone (series) experience in Northern California.This vrbo is a basement studio under a ranch family member's residence, so expect some noise from above. 「Great host, very secure yard for pets in a quiet neighborhood. Snow is cleared on local roads. Close to everything, Grocery store 10 minutes away. We have stayed multiple times, always a great time.」
