「Property was just what I was looking for. Secluded yet within driving distance to many things. Host was very personable, helpful and kind. He has a great property!」

「The duty manager was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. Convenient location with numerous food and fuel options close by. Easy parking and access. The room was clean, well-stocked and I slept VERY well under the warm blankets on a comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, and that's what I wanted. Thanks to the management and staff!」

「This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. 「We found the quiet and surrounding farm truly relaxing. Even though we drove sixty miles roundtrip each day, the drive was beautiful and relaxing. The only negative was the wifi being intermittent and the listed password was inaccurate. Overall, a good week.」

「My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.」

「Travelled up to Upstate New York to spend a weekend going to Saratoga Race Course and was so blessed to find this gem on the Mariaville Lake. The price was very fair and Tony and Patti were fantastic hosts. I can't wait to come back and do less!
