「Only issue is the new window shades allow light around so room does not get very dark」

「We enjoyed our 3-night stay here. The pool and jacuzzi were a big plus for our trip, although the pool was pretty cold. The room was very clean. The staff we interacted with were professional and polite. Our room was quiet at night and we slept very well in our cozy bed. 「We really enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was quick and seamless; staff was friendly and super helpful. The hotel was very clean, and beds were comfy! The only thing that caught me off guard is there is not an elevator. My father in law struggled a little bit going up and down the stairs, but thankfully it was just one flight. That was probably an oversight on my end. We will definitely stay here again!」

「I have booked a room described as "1 King bed with Recliner". However, entering the room we found an office chair only. We are 2 people intending to spend 2 nights/3 days in the room so I asked at the front desk about "Recliner", or any chair. They looked puzzled. Since I insisted that we need another chair, a guy was sent to grab an office chair from another room. Anyway, since then we were not trusting this place to match the price of $100/night. It is very run down, not being taken...

「What a jewel this house is - the history and the care in renovating are phenomenal. I slept upstairs and enjoyed it very much. I love all the windows which allow a lot of light into the house. I was surprised how close it was to the street and we did hear some street noise through the night. The coffee bar was wonderful as was the garden which notes all of the flowers that have been planted. I really enjoyed that.」
