"Checked in at after 10:00 PM. We had to ask for hand soap for the bathroom & an ice bucket because they were not in the room. The bed had no top sheet. The breakfast was all picked over before 8 AM. No fruit or yogurt available. No healthy options."

"Loved the place! Very homey & comfortable A big plus was being next door to the Jaarsma bakery We were 20 min from the Pella Tulip Festival which made it very convenient Ate at the Tasos Steakhouse in Oskaloosa 2x in 2 days of that says anything. Loved everything about the towns"

"Gorgeous, immaculately clean lake house with tons of space to relax. Lots of bedrooms-perfect for a ladies weekend away. This place is comfortable and nicely decorated. Right on the lake - will be beautiful when the lake is filled after construction is complete. Lots of extras-entertainment in garage, bikes, stocked kitchen with everything you could possible need plus staples, drinks, and an amazing coffee bar. Plush towels in all bathrooms too! Hosts were quick to respond to questions ahead of our stay and incredibly fast when we had a significant issue (out of our and their control) with the property. Would definitely stay here again, despite things that went wrong, the hosts made all the difference in making it an amazing weekend! "
