「Nice friendly old inn in the middle of Newent. Opposite a good cafe and within walking distance to a number of pubs and bars. My dog was made really welcome and well looked after. 」

「Location to visit the historic town was perfect, everything in walking distance not too hilly.The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was spacious clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner was well presented & very good with lots of choice and value for money.」

「Room to a high standard and hotel was well presented. Bed mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. Main disappointment was the staff. Reception staff were robotic and unengaging. Most staff we encountered failed to engage and did not acknowledge our presence. Bar staff were young and inexperienced, hard to get their attention. Great hotel but staff let it down , not sure if we stay again.」

「This hotel provided me with a fantastically located place to stay whilst attending a nearby wedding. Situated within a gorgeous looking building the hotel makes use of its period features without giving a dated impression. The room I stayed in was spotless and had everything I needed to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Being in the city centre was also another major positive as it meant I could arrive into Hereford by train and walk to the hotel. Hotel staff were also unendingly polite...
