「Staff was courteous and friendly. Clean bedding and towels. However the room had never been updated. We could see outside around the door jam. The water was orange when first on!!!!! 」

「Not overly friendly staff. Lady was pleasant but rude all at the same time. The room was okay but the mattresses were old. The bathroom was rough all the way around」

「Very outdated. Carpet in our room looked it hadn’t been shampooed in a few years. Bathroom looked clean, but the non slip in the tub was so old and discolored it made it look dirty. Furniture is over used, the surface is scarred and stained. The first room they put us in smelled so musty, we had to ask for another room. The blackout curtain was hanging on one clip. We never ate the breakfast.」

「The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!」

「Rooms needs to be updated(walls, bathroom). Staff was great. Access for back parking lot boaters was great but it did have a washed out area(rut). Left real early to eat breakfast so didn't have time to see how it was.」

「Originally, upon arrival, the bed sheets had a stain. The staff were able to change it for me, though. The pool was not cleaned (stayed in late April). Rooms smelled nice, but like the bed sheets, the shower curtain was worn. Overall, clean and budget friendly. Good staff. Good TV, Good Refrigerator. Acceptable WiFi. I would stay here again if I needed a place to stay in Greensboro.」

「Old, old, OLD and smells like cigarettes. No public restroom at check-in so if you're checking in, take a leak in the parking lot before you go in.」
