"The room was clean and large enough for my family of six. Caught some fish in the lake from their spacious docks. Pool was clean, and breakfast was really good! Friendly staff and patrons. Could use more games in the lounge area, but the kids enjoyed the puzzles and chess. Nearby convenience and dollar store, but restaurants were sparse. Would definitely book again. I enjoyed the quiet time!"

"This is a beautiful, well maintained and expertly furnished property. There are so many places, including the pool area, to sit, relax and listen to and watch the wildlife. It is set in wonderful grounds and extensive countryside with amazing views. We had breakfast daily which was plentiful and tasty and the service from staff was excellent throughout our stay. We did not ride, but if you are a horse rider this is a great place to stay. The nearby town of Madison (about a 15 min car journey) is...
