Our quaint and comfortable 2 bedroom home is located just south of Columbus in Grove City. Centrally located to many local brewery/winery, shops, restaurants, the library, and local theater. Easy access to Interstate 71 and located within 10 miles of downtown Columbus, the Ohio State University, Children's Hospital and the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Features include new furniture, 2 baths, a large yard and 1 car garage.

周辺情報

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

I absolutely loved this place! It is going to be my go-to place anytime I stay in Columbus area again. It was cozy and the Christmas tree was such a nice touch that made it even nicer! I was thankful for having a garage because it snowed and my car rental didn't come with a snow brush. It was easy to communicate with the owner and everything was clean. It was convenient to everything, exactly as pictured. I wish I could buy it as 2nd home.

Nice place but charming is not the word I would use! The recently-renovated property is very nice and very clean, the area was fine, no issues. It just felt like all the furnishings were bare minimum. All the cookware was "amazon basics" nonstick. Fridge was bare: no sauces, condiments or bottled water. A few basic keurig coffee pods. No desks or chairs in bedrooms. Probably not the best place for a longer "vacation" stay where you're planning to cook at home, but definitely a good value for a work trip. Overall good experience!

The pictures and description were very accurate. The location was close to everything and easyto find. The process from reservations, to check-in and check-out was effortless. Casey and his team were great at updating the reservation details and check-out process. The neighborhood was really nice and very peaceful. Felt like home away from home. If I return to Columbus, I would check to see if this property is available again.

Excellent Place

Great place to stay! Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to grocery stores and numerous restaurants. Short drive to downtown and had everything amenity we needed. Pictures match what the actual property looks like. Really nice having a garage to park our vehicle in. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Columbus.

Great value

This was a wonderful place to drop anchor for a few days. A couple of us needed to come to the area for a conference and this was a great place for our trip. It was clean, no nonsense stay for a busy schedule. Really appreciated all the amenities. Recommend! Just please don't book it the week we need to come back to the area...
