"What a great find! A beautifully renovated property in a charming area of Umbria. There were many types of rooms to choose from. Our room was spacious and modern yet comfortable. Anna at reception was so friendly and helpful! The buffet breakfast included many choices of pastries, fruit, and hot and cold choices. I highly recommend a stay at the Monteleone!"

"Great rest stop on our way to Rome. There is no direct access to the lake (it's about a 2 km walk/drive from the hotel), but the hotel is clean and nice. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the free continental breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of pastries, and two very excellent coffee/cappuccino machines. Overall, a great place to rest, in a quiet, peaceful area."

"The restaurant was fantastic as was the breakfast. The location is off the beaten path and it definitely helps a person slow down and unwind! Grounds are gorgeous and very inviting. The staff were also very kind and accommodating! We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. "

"The owner is very nice, the place is clean and quiet. Small but nice pool, great for hot days. No aircon and need of a car to eat (restaurant is closed) are the only two minor items."
