This property was perfect for us. We actually chose Corciano among other small (non-touristy) hill towns in Umbria because of this VRBO listing. It is just as delightful as the description and photos. It is its own property, not attached to any other occupied unit and on the main street that circles the small town. The property is so comfortable with a very useful kitchen (we cooked many meals during our 10-day stay), a lovely patio where we often had breakfast and/or lunch. A comfortable living room and table/chairs. A half-bath downstairs and upstairs the bedrooms (one queen, one single) and a full bath with shower. Everything worked perfectly. Rosella is a lovely and helpful host. Theresa, whom others have mentioned, is so nice to have across the street. She made us dinner (asparagus risotto and a fabulous salad, Umbrian bread and biscotti) and sold us many fresh vegetables from her garden. They also offer some transportation services and drove us to and from the train station in Ellera. Corciano is very small so it won't suit everyone. It did suit us very well because we wanted to begin our month in Italy with a quiet spot. There is the wonderful Orange Caffe, with Sara as owner which serves simple snacks, great drinks and cafe. A gelateria, two restaurants, a wine bar that also has substantial and nice small plates and a bar with small plates. There is a small grocery with a very friendly owner that was substantial for our meals at home. We loved it!
