Welcome to Moonrise Cabin, located in the Sasquatch Mountain Resort - an all-season adventure destination.

Our beautiful log home sleeps 10 people, with 3 private bedrooms, a kid-friendly loft and two full bathrooms. The cabin has all amenities for a relaxing stay, including wifi, netflix, disney channel, a firewood fireplace and a large BBQ. Whether you are looking to relax in front of a roaring wood fireplace after a day in the powder, or find a quiet retreat from the adventure of life itself, our cabin is the place to be.

Moonrise Cabin is a 3 minute drive, or a tranquil 15 minute walk, to Sasquatch Mountain Resort (SMR) and its all-season amenities.

During the ski season, SMR offers some of the best powder and shortest lines within a 2 hour drive of Vancouver. Come enjoy skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails.

When the snow melts the fun and adventures keep going. Visitors to SMR during the warmer, longer days can test their skills on the amazing mountain-side disc golf course, or catch their breath gazing along mountain-top vistas from one of the many hiking trails. And for visitors of all ages looking to add a real thrilling adventure to their visit, harness up and swing from the peaks on Sasquatch Mountain's NEW Aerial Park!

Our beautiful mountain community is still a sleepy town at heart. Our one local pub, Molly Hogans, is open most days during the winter season and on the weekends during the summer. There is a small store open year-round, which is located at Hemlock Hollow, where you can buy some basics such as milk, bread, treats, toiletries and gifts.

Zoe was very communicative throughout the process and very helpful. Weather conditions had made a trip cancellation almost inevitable, but Zoe did an amazing job to ensure we got there and that everything was warm and up and running for us. Would definitely stay here again!

the cabin exceeded our expectations, the warmth and build of the place really makes you feel safe from the cold, rainy nights. beds are comfortable and the cabin has many little amenities such as board games, an old school nintendo, and a big bin of legos for your kids. was a beautiful cabin and my friends and i wont forget this trip. only thing i have to warn about is the mice. we did manage to catch two with some traps so make sure your food us stored away and the kitchen is kept clean from crumbs and such. other than that. was an amazing time.

The Moonrise Cabin was spectacular. The views of the mountains was stunning. The cabin had everything you would need for a comfortable cozy stay, with a well appointed kitchen. We would recommend this property and would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the property and would certainly go again! It’s a beautiful home that gives you a true cabin in the woods feel. The host was super responsive and answered any and all questions we had very fast. The area is remote and does have a gravel road to get to it so make sure your car is prepared and you have everything you need with you for your time at the home!

Great family getaway
Moonrise cabin was a perfect property for our March break mountain adventure. We found it to be roomy, comfortable and cozy, spotlessly clean. While other properties claim to have well equipped kitchens and actually fall quite short, this is not the case at Moonrise. Everything we needed to prepare meals for a family of 10 was there and most importantly, in good condition. The views out to the slopes and surrounding mountains are beautiful. Zoe is a great host and does everything possible to make your stay a enjoyable experience.
