"We had a truly wonderful stay at this cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The property is incredibly spacious—perfect for accommodating three generations of our family, along with our dogs, without ever feeling crowded.Everything was very well equipped, with all the essentials (and more) thoughtfully provided, making our stay comfortable and stress-free from the moment we arrived. The welcome basket was such a lovely touch and a really nice surprise after our journey.The location is ideal too—peaceful and private, yet just a short drive to the beautiful beaches, as well as the bars and cafés in Bamburgh. It gave us the best of both worlds: a tranquil retreat with easy access to local attractions."

"This has been my favourite UK staycation! The hosts were so lovely and kind. The rooms were clean and have everything you need with a few extra touches like dressing gown, heaters/hot water bottle and tea/coffee. The cooked breakfast was soo tasty! The location is perfect and not too far from everything..lovely views of cheviot hills. I have nothing negative to say...it was the perfect stay! Thank you! I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Northumberland!"

"Contact difficult, automated responses to messages, voicemail for calls. We wanted early entry but apparently this is not avaliable unless booked in advance for housekeeping purposes. An hr early on a wet Thursday in February, I'm sure could've been manageable, or a least a call back to say no. I requested twin beds as in photo, king bed was made up.No toilet roll in bathroom, not one. I've never experienced this anywhere else I've stayed previously, there has been no response to me questioning both these issues.Lovely room, although stains on the wall could do with a coat of paint.Bathroom was freezing cold."

"In anticipation of my trip, I reached out to host to ask for check in procedure advised by VRBO, to be told bluntly that it would be sent on the day. Still not received on the day, messaged again, told it would be sent sometime that day. Arrived at property and waited outside as no code, received after a further phone call. Honestly felt the Garden area, was in need of a clean, large ‘day bed’ was dirty and well worn. Patio area not used as a result.House itself was nice, small but had everything including Nespresso machine with some pods. Bathroom is tired and some mould, with slow draining plug which filled within minutes.Overall left disappointment, as Communications with host could easily have been better, nice secluded location, but I felt let down."
