「Light bright rooms, overlooking fields with castle & sea in the distance. Plenty of parking at front of building. Sraff extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice both cold & cooked. There is an onsite cafe adjouning hotel which was ideal. They served hot & cold dishes, variety of sandwiches, cakes, puds etc. It is open 24/7 & used by passersby on A1.
Very central for trips to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne etc.
We would definitely recommend & will be making a return jorney...

I would highly recommend as it is near the castle and other places to visit such as the beach and museum.

The set up works really well as the rooms are separate from the Inn with an entrance for residents to access the restaurant for meals. I would certainly recommend a stay. 」

「Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....
「This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained.
There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection.
There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay £10.80 per day at...
「It was amazing, the garden rooms are a hidden gem! The design of the room and bathroom were beautiful huge room. The hot tub was a great added touch! I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from the road to the static caravans but the pub was great also, food was delicious and breakfast was fantastic, great options. The village and walk to Beach especially with the added sunshine and heat on...

「Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.
