「Just back from a lovely stay at the Black Bull Inn. Staff were friendly and welcoming it's in a lovely location for parking and amenities. We had the luxury of staying in room 14 which featured a four poster bed, the room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing thank you cant wait to visit again.」

「The hotel is part of the service area on the A1 but, unlike most such hotels, it offers good food as well as comfortable accommodation. We were impressed with the welcome we received - and our dog was happy with the positive attention he received! The chap on reception was able to recommend a good parking spot in Bamburgh, where we were keen to take the dog for a long walk! All in all, a good place to stop!」

「Tha staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is well positioned for access to A1 and local bus route to Town. The room was perfect with plenty of room and an extra large bed. We had dinner in the hotel there was plenty of choice and all freshly cooked, excellent.」

「Property has wow factor with good food and friendly staff.」

「Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon. H」

「Good breakfast and kind staff. Very good location to go around the town. 」

「Fined 35 pounds for parking the hotel car park, while staying as a guest. Not a good way to treat guests.」

「Out of this world amazing time spent there 」

「Excellent location, an easy walk into Alnwick for the castle, Barter Books etc. Parking a bonus, and Lidl a very short walk away. House itself was very well equipped and well looked after with lots of space for our family of five with older teens. Loved the Sky Lounge for extra space! Overall the nicest place we stayed on our two week holiday, hands down.」

「The cottage is next to the main road. No staying up late in bed in the mornings, the road noise woke us up from 7am. Quiet at night. The location is good, very central to explore Northumberland. Cottage well equipped, especially the kitchen. Communication was good with host. Good options for restaurants (3 within walking distance) and take aways, Coop and Budgens in the village. 」
