"Rated 3 as We stayed at a 1 king bedroom on the 3rd floor for 3 nights. Room was a bit dusty and only provided 2 towels. Our shower gel was empty when we got to our room, good thing we had extra. We asked for refill 3 times but was never completed. Room was dark and didnt have a rug for the bathroom everytime you shower it floods. I would recommend this place if you want a affordable and want convenient location to trains and busses and tourist spots like michigan ave/river walk. Near to restaurants and bars as well."

"This hotel needs some serious TLC!. Don't let the nice lobby fool you, the rooms are disgusting. I booked a few rooms for a family event, all rooms had very dirty carpeting. The carpeting was linty, dusty, stained, had crusty bits that needed to be cleaned up. Just gross. My white socks were shockingly dirty from the carpeting, we had to keep our shoes on. My daughter's first room was so gross, they had to get another room. The staff was very nice, but we could easily tell they were short staffed. We used to love this hotel, but after this stay we aren't going back. I overheard many guests having a variety of issues at the hotel also."
