The location is so perfect. It is across the street from the train atation and tons of option for restaurants. Very easy to walk to everywhere. Hotel breakfast is very good. Room is very clean and bed is very comfortable. Will come back and stay.

The hotel room furniture and fittings looks abit old but the staff is polite and helpful. Location is ok, just opposite train station. Suitable for those planning to alishan in the early morning.

The hotel is just the opposite of the TRA station and bus station which makes it convenient to go around considering that there’s no metro in this town. The town is a scene to behold albeit it would be better to visit during autumn or spring unlike the period of my travel now at summer! Lol. The only - side is that the hotel is not flexible and insisted for me to pay NT600 per day for the additional guest (there were 3 of us traveling in this trip). I’ve stayed in Taipei, Taichung and Tainan as a group of 3 and none of the hotels charged extra for the additional pax. There’s very basic Chinese breakfast and toast if you can’t eat Chinese breakfast which started even earlier than indicated (6:30am-9:30am). I’ve not gone to Alishan, maybe next time if I visit Chiayi again.
