"This is a family owned and run hotel with wonderfully hospitable and friendly staff and owners. The owners are there all the time to greet and serve hotel guests. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a great view from our window. The San Lucchese restaurant is 5 star ! Very good food, wines and service! "The hotel and staff are great. The room and bed are super nice just be ready to move your luggage over some stairs, yes, they do have lift BUT there are some bedrooms (like mine) that will require to go over some stairs."

"The pool was very nice overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The hotel has a nice ambience, rustic but very clean an updated. I like there were big windows that could open to a garden from the room. Getting around was a bit difficult even with a car. Very steep hills and is not so walkable. Very windy roads so it takes longer than expected to get to places. There are 2 nice villages very close by with different kind of restaurants. Barberino has stunning views. There is a walkable trail very close by a little creek but need to ask for directions, it's very secluded . The restaurant has really good food and service. Breakfast , very good, american style and italian.Perfect place for a honeymoon"
