"Monica was the friendliest most enthusiastic host we’ve stayed with. Everything from her greeting to the amazing breakfast was perfect. She does a lot of baking, so the breakfast was really a treat and you could also get eggs cooked in various ways. The room was a little small but very comfortable. Parking was on the street, but it was fairly close and easy."

"Had we known that we should look for Castello di Querceto, this would have been very easy to find! The address on Hotels.com is correct but it made us look for "Serene Apartments". The ladies in the reception were accommodating and informative. The apartment is lovely! It is placed next to the reception, 10 minutes walk from the swimmingpool, but seems to be cooler than the apartments next to the pool due to shade from trees and buildings. It is bigger than expected and has everything we need....

"It was wonderful to stay in a castle in Tuscany no less Every person we met was attentive and kind We were staying near friends and didn’t hang around the grounds much or use the pool but everything seemed well kept It’s really a place to retreat to eat at and sleep at which served our purpose well "

"The facilities were great, including access to the swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were good. Parking on site. Villa is a 10 minute drive to two lovely Tuscan towns (Greve and Panzano). Would stay here again - it was so atmospheric! "

"A lovely stay at this property with our 2 year old.The apartment had everything we needed and communication with the host was very good There are steep hills to access the property by car or foot so bear that in mind but we managed fine with a pram and a car its just worth noting Handy to have laundry facilities on site aswell. "Pros: 1. Beautiful property with an amazing view. 2. Spacious family suite 3. Comfortable bed 4. Quiet, waking up to birds singing in the morning. Cons: 1. Stink bugs in the suite; once we understood they are common this time of year and easy to capture and release outside, it was ok. 2. Showers are very small. 3. "Hotel located in a gorgeous mountain settings, the views absolutely stunning, the food was ok, fresh and decent choices on the menu. Room was very clean, but moldy smell was still in the room. The service was excellent. Spa i was not impressed at all. Chlorine smell inside the facility, average massage treatment, would not recommend it. Outdoor pool has breath taking views, in the summer time it will be the best place to spend your mornings or evenings to watch Sunrise and Sunsets. Overall I do recommend to visit this place for at least a few days."

"A Tuscan Gem with Unmatched Hospitality We had a wonderful stay at Villa I Barronci Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm and attentive service. Our rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. We also had a fantastic dinner at the resort. The food was absolutely delicious and a true highlight of our visit. While there was some construction taking place during our stay, it truly didn't take away from the natural beauty of the grounds. The resort is situated in the perfect location for visiting Tuscany’s most scenic spots, and the nearby town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa is such a quaint, lovely place to walk around. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming base in the heart of Chianti! "
