"Staff was wonderful. We arrived late and had a difficult time finding the right road to the property. Fabio was in contact with us the entire time and had to rescue us after we got lost. Thank you. Had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and breakfast the next day was exceptional. The room was very nice and clean. The wine tour was great and enjoyed the tasting. Stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed more. Highly recommended."

"We had such a lovely stay in this incredibly peaceful and comfortable property. The surrounding views, including from the beautiful pool, are spectacular and the house itself was finished to a very high standard. A relatively short drive to Radda which is our favourite town in the region. We would highly recommend."

"We stayed only one night of our (4) night booking. Several items on previous reviews (in a book at the VRBO) were not addressed. The driveway is terrible. Very steep with wash outs, ruts and deep mud puddles on the few flat spots. There was dust on the countertops that we could write our names in. Furniture and covers were so dirty we didn't want to sit on them. 1-1/2 rolls of TP. We were told to use the laundry soap that was provided; however, it was not provided. Beautiful location. Seems like with a little bit of effort this place could be wonderful. "

"You are paying for the view!!!! This hotel was not worth the money spent in my opinion. The hotel staff was not very accommodating, though the restaurant staff was lovely. We had to bring our luggage up to our room and back down during check in and check out — no one even offered and trust me it was a hike to get it up there. Also they overcharged us at every turn. At their overpriced wine testing (which they were unprepared for our reservation, not set up and didn’t remember what we booked) they said a bottle was $40, then at dinner said the same bottle was now $65! Every glass of wine was steeply priced and the wine tasting was boring and uninformative. We preferred our wine tasting elsewhere (save your money!). The bed was extremely uncomfortable, worst one we slept on the whole trip. While the chef at their restaurant is incredible, we enjoyed our first dinner there and felt like it was worth the money. The food for the olive grove dinner was not as good and we didn’t even get to sit in the grove for most of the night due to the cold temps (the highlight was the incredible live band they had which saved the dinner for us). Overall we spent almost no time at the hotel and were very disappointed in the overall experience — not a luxury experience at all. Save your money, go elsewhere or be prepared to pay solely for the view. "
