Our host Francesco was wonderful. Showed us our room in a restored 1840s building in their vineyard, and explained local things to see and do. The spacious rooom had log ceilings and a four poster bed. Had a free breakfast at Francesco's mothers cafe just around the corner. Early in the season so the pool wasn't open yet. Fantastic place to stay. Make sure you contact Francesco by phone before you arrive so he can meet you at checkin. His # is in the check in instructions.

Je ne comprends pas les commentaires négatifs. Endroit chaleureux, personnel accueillant et très bonne situation. Nous reviendrons, c est sur. Pour ceux qu’il veulent une piscine chauffée et une chambre aseptisée, il y’a des chaînes hôtelières qui font ça très bien, pour les autres, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ( et vous ne trouverez pas meilleur rapport qualité prix dans le coin).

So much potential.....

Booked 4 rooms for family of 9. Tried to check in at 4 pm, Rooms were not ready. Other guests waiting as well. Went to dinner and came back at 9 pm and Still had to wait fo 1 room. My room was on the first floor. The guests above us took a shower and it leaked into our room. I’m not talking about a slow drip either (brother in-law dubbed it the rain forest room). It took about an hour for us to track down the owner and when she arrived she simply shrugged it off as not a big deal. The guest above us were no longer showering....so it’s no longer an issue. The next day the room smelled like something died causing us to move into other family members room. Asked for refund or another room and we were told it’s not possible. The property itself is beautiful. The pool was nice. Breakfast was ok. The vineyard in the pictures is being completely redone. So as of right now it’s just a dirt hill. As you can imagine with such a large task there’s a lot of machinery going on as well. It started about 6 am. For the money, in my opinion there are a lot of better options.
