Very picturesque family Hotel run by a mom and son. Rustic and simple and clean in an amazing setting in Tuscany very close to Radda in Chianti which had cute restaurants and very scenic in the heart of Tuscany. We walked the Vineyards and our children swam in the pool. Simple & nice family hotel- nothing fancy!

Our host Francesco was wonderful. Showed us our room in a restored 1840s building in their vineyard, and explained local things to see and do. The spacious rooom had log ceilings and a four poster bed. Had a free breakfast at Francesco's mothers cafe just around the corner. Early in the season so the pool wasn't open yet. Fantastic place to stay. Make sure you contact Francesco by phone before you arrive so he can meet you at checkin. His # is in the check in instructions.

A charming stay that feels like stepping back in time The hotel is incredibly cozy. Yes, it's a little older and could use some updates, but honestly, we loved that charming, old-world atmosphere. It gave us a real step-back-in-time experience, which made our stay feel unique and special. The location is incredible just a short distance from a lovely little village with several restaurants and beautiful streets to explore. The owner was also very nice, welcoming, and friendly. We stayed in the Princess Suite, and the view was absolutely breathtaking — truly something you have to see for yourself. I do think that with a few thoughtful updates - better lighting, nicer bed covers, some bathroom improvements, an iron and a few more towels, as well as refreshed outdoor sofas and lounge chairs — this hotel could feel like a 5-star experience while still keeping its historic charm. If you're looking for a sleek, modern hotel, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you want to experience something charming, historic, and a little like stepping back in time, you'll appreciate this hotel as much as we did.

Autentisk sted. Virkelig flotte bygninger, med fin beliggenhet. Dog noe slitt/slitent, særlig bassengområdet. Selve bassenget var stort og rent. Mulighet for enkel frokost. Meget hyggelige og hjelpsomme eiere. Alt i alt mye for pengene og et trivelig opphold.

So much potential.....

Booked 4 rooms for family of 9. Tried to check in at 4 pm, Rooms were not ready. Other guests waiting as well. Went to dinner and came back at 9 pm and Still had to wait fo 1 room. My room was on the first floor. The guests above us took a shower and it leaked into our room. I’m not talking about a slow drip either (brother in-law dubbed it the rain forest room). It took about an hour for us to track down the owner and when she arrived she simply shrugged it off as not a big deal. The guest above us were no longer showering....so it’s no longer an issue. The next day the room smelled like something died causing us to move into other family members room. Asked for refund or another room and we were told it’s not possible. The property itself is beautiful. The pool was nice. Breakfast was ok. The vineyard in the pictures is being completely redone. So as of right now it’s just a dirt hill. As you can imagine with such a large task there’s a lot of machinery going on as well. It started about 6 am. For the money, in my opinion there are a lot of better options.
