"Property was very welcoming towards our toy poodleggt"

"The hotel was very clean and in a perfect location right on the beach. The staff were very welcoming/friendly and most were always very helpful. However there were a couple of staff members who were quite rude and dismissive which was very disappointing!! But we would like to mention Josue (rooftop bar) who was AMAZING and very friendly and accommodating!! We had a foul smell coming from the bathroom, so after complaining the staff were very apologetic and immediately upgraded us to an ocean view room. The only negative to this hotel was the food. It quickly became very repetitive and boring as it was pretty much the same food every day/night as part of the all inclusive package (all inclusive menu was different to the normal menu with very limited choice!!). And we didn’t even know about the special dishes when there was an Italian night. I think the hotel management should review their food and have more buffets in the evening and different types of dishes as it quickly became apparent that most of the guests were eating out and the restaurant was empty most evenings. Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel. "

"3 weeks before our trip the property reached out saying there was a "glitch" and we would no longer get the 4-bedroom unit on the first floor we paid for. Instead they downgraded us to a second floor 3 bedroom unit with double beds instead of queens. Without any mention of monetary compensation. It took over a week of pleading for them to change it to a 3 bedroom with queen beds. "

"Quiet, safe, very comfy beds... I slept like a baby every night! I enjoyed the area under the Papala, where people gathered for breakfast or just to hang out. Helpful and kind staff."

"This house truly is stunning. Everything as advertised. Communication with host and concierge team was great. Kitchen is very well equipped if you want to make meals. Many areas to enjoy each other or be alone. Pools very nice and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay here again if I return to Isla. "

"While the property had great possibility, sadly the entire stay felt disjointed due to the way things are run. Example- rooftop pool that has no food/bar available…even though there is a restaurant on the rooftop. The hotel advertised that the rooftop bar was open at 3pm, yet we never saw any staff there until the restaurant prepped to open. The staff seemed undertrained and consistently put into circumstances where they were unsure of how to fulfill a request. Again, while the property was nice, I would not recommend returning until management irons out quite a few wrinkles. "

"Amazing resort. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend. You have to get the signature room with the hot tub. The sunsets are amazing. The beach and pools are awesome. Just an amazing resort. "

"Group of 10 just stayed for 7 days. Fabulous house and outdoor area. Heated Pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean is amazing! Very clean! Monse was amazing at setting up our golf cart rental and excursions. Jan was very attentive to anything questions we had and took care of our taxi service setup in departure date and our food delivery twice! Great crew! "
