Small family stay

Stay was nice with an easy check in and check out process. I wasn’t given the cot I requested so not sure if they just don’t have them. Abode was in a really convenient location around the Tuggeranong shopping centre with beautiful restaurants around as well as the river there.

We had a very comfortable one night stay at the Abode Tuggeranong, the showers hot water ran out after a couple of minutes which was not ideal but it did not ruin our stay, overall we would stay again.

Well located and very well appointed.

Well located hotel, plenty of parking, large room with all faciltities in room that one could need including cooking and laundry. Only possible grizzle would be king bed was a little too large for the room and may have been better with a queen. Otherwise, very nice indeed.

Overall the property was lovely however the veranda was quite dirty and the mix up at reception over whether I'd paid or not (when i clearly had a receipt) was a bit of a let down. However being able to extend our checkout by an hour was amazing. The location is spot on with access to shops, dining and transport right at front door and the view of the lake breath taking. I'd definitely recommend and stay again.

Unit was clean spacious and had everything we needed. Great comfy bed. Worst thing was machinery noise outside may have been street sweeper which started at 3am and went for a long time!

Property was a comfortable but in need of a good clean. Carpet, furniture and general cleanliness was not in great condition. There was a used syringe out the front of the property and felt like not a great area. Very convenient across from shopping centre and restaurants. Safe were friendly and helped when we were not able to get back in due to swipe not working afterhours.

Enjoyed our stay at Abode Tuggeranong. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the appliances/furnishings were very good. The only small issues were the there was very little room left either side of the king bed to move comfortably. Also the TV picture was dull and difficult to watch. Having said that we would recommend this hotel

Pleasant accommodation. Very good air conditioning on a very hot day. We were promised a furnished balcony but no furniture was provided. On arrival there were no glasses, cups or tea/coffee provided. However staff were helpful and immediately brought what was required.

A big comfy bed and clean apartment. Our unit overlooked the bus interchange so it was a bit noisy with buses coming and going as well as just sitting re with the engine idling. The only minor negatives with the room were the bedside light didn’t work and the spout on the kitchen tap came off and sprayed water over the bench, floor and ceiling

We paid big $$ for stay..tv not working. Staff were quick to fix this tho. Bedroom wall light not working. Sofa bedfor 3rd guest very uncomfortable. Bus stop just outside our room..noisy! We have been here before as we like the location. But this time very poor value.

The biggest challenge with this property is the parking. I knew this before I arrived as I had read several reviews so I thought I was prepared. When checking into most hotels you expect to park in front by the entrance, not the case here. There is a roll up door around the corner that you have to find first. Once entering you follow the signs to the reception desk. No real designated parking for this that I could find. My issue arrived with the strong accent of the very sweet young lady that checked me in. I was an international traveler so I was challenged already, to then not understand this girl on the parking. I ended up having an issue with a permanent resident that fortunately with the help of another young lady, who I could understand very well, we resolved the issue. The rest of my stay was really great here. I stayed for 2 weeks and having the use of a small kitchen and washer and dryer in my room was great. They would clean everyday if I wished and even left me dishwashing, and washing detergent for the washing machine. That is a first for me. Location was great. Beautiful Lake Tuggeranong within walking distance and a large mall directly across the street was very convienent. Once the parking was figured out the whole experience was really great.
