Older property but well refurbed and even with a swimming pool free to guests which I didn't use as only booked for one night. The room had a view of a roof, but was clean and comfortable. For the rice paid it was excellent value. Reception went the extra mile to give me a room with a walk in shower as I have mobility issues, but as the building is an older type there were steps going up and down to it after I got to that floor by lift. The only downside to my stay was that parking seemed plentyful but I went out for the evening and it was full upon my return. All in all for an economy stay it was excellent value for money

The staff were pleasant on arrival. The room we were first given was not good. Unable to get hot water, TV didn't work, curtains were ill fitting and you could have tbe curtains open as it was level with the road outside do absolutely no privacy unless you kept the curtains closed constantly. We requested to move rooms which the young lad on reception granted with no questions asked and was very apologetic saying they were going through refurbishment which wasnt mentioned when booking. The second room was better but there were issues. The room was extremely hot, the road noise was extremely noisy and the wash basin in the bathroom was so small and very low. Sadly we won't be back unless perhaps the refurb improves things.

Needs total refurbishment and clean. Paid for 2 breakfasts at £12.95 each and basically got 1 egg on toast and 1jam and toast. Manager hasn’t acknowledged by complaint. Very disappointing. Pool wasn’t clean and no treadmill in the gym

The room was fine. Pity about the floorboards of the room above creaking when anyone walked around. The bed was slightly too saggy, but everything else was fine. Breakfast was filling, but I would have preferred scrambled rather than fried eggs, and a changing menu. The pool/spa was nice but ageing, and it gets used to teach kids swimming at times, so may not be available. Still, it was good for the price and it's in a nice location.

Hotel from hell. Would never stay again. First room was dirty & not been properly cleaned for a long time. Dust everywhere, dirty carpets, dusty fan, bug found on bed. Our view was where they store the dirty towels.My partner called reception to ask for another room as this was setting off her asthma. 2nd room was just as bad if not worse. We went to reception again to be called liars and the room was cleaned today. We had to refuse to stay in the room or we want a full refund. We was then put in the executive suite, this was better but still not good. Dirty carpets, patched wallpaper stains around the toilet. We was then told the next day the cleaners will clean our original room for us to move back into. Was then told during breakfast we would be upgraded to the deluxe room & this was clear the room is to dirty to fix or noone can be bothered & this is a health hazard for anyone with poor breathing conditions. The 4th room (the deluxeroom) was where we stayed for the duration but was still not great. Then after an afternoon in the pool, we went back to our room to find the lock was broken, we then was told to wait for the maintenance guy. We was left in another room dripping wet from swimming. Because of all this we missed dinner because it was past 9pm All this and the state of Bournemouth area, we decided at that point to leave. We checked out 1 day early and will never go back. My advice avoided this hotel at all costs an

The room I had a flying cockroach in the bathroom, I said this to the staff and the staff was rude and said it was because there was a lot insects in the UK. So disappointed. My whole stay I couldn’t sleep as I am nearby the exit door and a lot people coming in and out and the staff defensively said its in the fire exit and no one should come there but apparently a lot of people do!! Hopeless.. The room stinks and the facilities were very outdated. Definitely NOT going to pay a penny for this hotel with cockroach and ill-mannered staff!!!
